Long-/short-time stress measurements – Stress Free Temperature
Due to temperature changes, stresses are generated in continuously welded track; their sum exerts a significant influence on track operation safety. The exact knowledge and control of these stresses is therefore indispensable for a safe operational procedure. With our measuring devices we are able to measure and document these.

Track position and stability measurements
The requirement for operational safety and driving comfort of the continuously welded track assumes the optimal track position and its stability. The evaluation of the safe position of the continuously welded track is possible based on the values we determine. Low Stress-Free Temperatures can be an indication of track stability limitations. To avoid critical stress states,
the detection of critical track sections using the Stress-Free Temperature measuring technique TracksafeReleas and/or strain gauges is ideal. This can be combined with track position and stability testing.

Track geometry testing
Track geometry has an major influence on the wear of the components of the wheel/rail system and driving comfort. A proper control of the track geometry during acceptance, at regular periods of time and after rail grinding helps limit maintenance costs and increase the driving comfort. Our state-of-the-art

Ultrasonic testing and inspections
Using breakthrough approved devices, some of which we manufacture ourselves, we perform mechanized and manual ultrasonic testing on rails and other components for error determination and rolling contact fatigue investigations. Trained and qualified staff of the company and its associates is available

Bridge and component testing
Of course, our After-Sales-Service includes all necessary periodical calibrations and Maintenance & Repair works. On request, we also perform calibration works on products from other companies.
